As we turn the corner on 2024, I wanted to take a moment to share with you all some of our vision for 2025!
In tonight’s release, we’ve rolled out 4 brand-new metrics dashboards. These are just the beginning of a series of updates designed to help us make the most of the wealth of data now available to us. Our goal is to empower you with the tools you need to better understand and grow your practice.
For the last few years, one of the most common feature requests that I have received, is the ability to integrate with statistics companies, and I will not back away from the fact that our decision to not do those integrations has not always been well received, both by our offices, and by those vendors. But we have big visions for our data, and what we can do for you, and your clinics, and those integrations take time, resources, testing, and support away from continuing one of our core missions - to help drive large scale, chiropractic research, both for clinical, as well as business purposes.
One of the single greatest frustrations I have had over the last 7 years, working day in and day out with Chiropractors, is the lack of standardization, especially around things like data and metrics. It has long been a refrain of mine - that if I can settle the debate of what a "visit" is in Chiropractic, I will have succeeded in my mission. While it seems trivial, I have been at the table with multiple Chiropractors who share remarkably similar numbers for visits, conversions, new patients, retention, price per visit, lifetime value.... Yet, they’re in vastly different financial situations. Why? It often comes down to definitions. These numbers may look the same on the surface, but different definitions obscure what really matters: actionable insights for improvement.

When people ask me for new metrics, my first question is always the same: What action will you take in your clinic with this data? More often than not, this question goes unanswered. Why? Because we’ve been trained to collect data without considering how to turn it into action that drives results.
These new dashboards are just the beginning of realizing this vision. While there’s still a lot more to come in 2025, we're excited to dive deeper into the power of data. Expect more dashboards, widgets, reports, and actionable insights to help you better understand where your clinic can improve and how you can make tangible changes today. You will also find some new definitions around key metrics on these dashboards - we will be moving toward a standardized metric system in Q1 of 2025 so all of ChiroHD will share the same definition for all key metrics. This is a crucial step in providing better research, more standardized reporting, industry benchmarking, faster development, and most importantly, actionable business analytics.
